TLI Group Ltd.® is a New Hampshire based manufacturer of an innovative multi Class "A", "B", and "D" liquid fire extinguishing agent which is available to the market. The agent has been approved for use by the FAA and tested and approved by the US Air Force. The product has passed aquatic testing and proven to be safe for the environment. This new liquid agent FEM-12 SC brings a new level of safety to the fire fighter by allowing it to be applied to a fire from a distance of 40 feet unlike dry powder products which requires their agent to be applied from a distance of no more then eight (8) feet. The FEM-12 SC extinguishes a magnesium on average less then four minutes where dry powder averages more then 90 to 120 minutes. When using FEM-12 SC a person may touch a piece of magnesium with their bare hand immediately after extinguishment of the fire without fear of burning their hand.
